From Infinity:

Infinity SUP Co. (a division of Shred & Speed MFG) is proud to announce that Women’s SUP Surf World Champ Izzi Gomez has joined the #infinityspeedfreaks. Izzi holds 5 World SUP Surfing Titles and is the current APP World Champion. Izzi burst on to the scene when she was 14 years old and has become a household name. With her busy traveling schedule and signature blonde hair Izzi is one of SUP’s most recognizable stars world wide. She jGioroins her brother Giorgio Gomez, Shae Foudy, Candice Appleby, and Slater Trout to round out the creative and diverse group of athletes on Infinity’s Pro Team.

Born and raised in Florida, now living in San Clemente California, the Redbull team rider is ready to evolve as an athlete as she intends to surf and compete on the APP World Tour, select WQS surf events as well as dip her toes in the Big Wave scene. Izzi will be competing on Dave Boehne SUP designs/shapes as well as working with Dan Boehne on her surfboards and big wave quiver.

“I am so excited for the years ahead! Infinity is a perfect fit for me. Not only is my brother Giorgio on the team but the entire team are some of my best friends.” – says Izzi “I know Dave is going to provide me with excellent SUP boards and being able to work both with him and his brother Dan on shortboards is incredible and will really help me as I chase points on the WQS Tour. I’ve always loved the brand message and aesthetics. It’s going to be fun getting creative with the crew!”

Dave Boehne Infinity SUP Co. / Shred & Speed CEO states – “Izzi adds so much flavor to the brand and World Champion talent. I am so excited and a bit nervous to make her some magic boards! She’s the BEST at what she does and it’s an honor.” Dave finished with this: “It’s all about having fun and this year is going to be incredible. I can’t wait to watch Izzi continue to do her thing!”

Watch Izzi Gomez make her Infinity debut this March at the 2018 Santa Cruz Paddlefest in Santa Cruz, CA where she will be looking to regain her title.
