Olukai Ho’olaule’a: Celebrating Water Culture
We can’t lie. We are starting to get just a little excited about the month of April. After all, weather is starting to get and stay warmer. Booties are starting to come off, and some of our most favorite races of the year are just around the corner.
One of those, the Olukai Ho’olaule’a, is a downwind feast for both sup and outriggers alike. While the eight-mile Maliko Run will both challenge and thrill you, the spirit of Aloha and ohana will lift your spirits and you will tap into the Hawaiian waterman culture. With the West Maui Mountains as the backdrop.
Watch the video teaser from last year’s race and afterward, we guessing you’ll want to book a ticket to Maui right away!
