This is a big week at Paddle Monster. First and foremost, they have now posted the strength plans, video demonstrations of each exercise in the video library and video walkthroughs on how to read, use, and discuss the plans with Strength and Conditioning Coach Chris Chapman.
There are over 40 new videos in the Strength and Conditioning section of the Video Library. You can see the videos below so you can get a feel for what we’re delivering each month. In short, you can now have a paddle-specific plan when you hit the gym or workout at home—A plan that takes into account that you are a paddler. Your needs are different and that’s why we brought in an Olympic Paddle Strength and Conditioning coach to help.
Second, our on-water paddle training programs now includes three different options (each with novice, intermediate and advanced options): The first is for Northern Hemisphere paddlers who will be affected by the cold weather and limited water time. The second is Southern Hemisphere Paddlers who are just getting into their race season. And the third is the warm weather/all year paddlers who have been on the plan and are finishing up their 2016 season.
And third, we’ve made some upgrades to the site based on your feedback, including basic formatting things, a new layout for the video library for quick searches, and a forum pulldown menu, newly formatted forum with a different layout. There are a ton of more invisible things that we have fixed, but you may not notice. The point is that we are listening.
